Brook J. Sadler is Associate Professor and Graduate Coordinator in the Department of Humanities and Cultural Studies. She received her Ph.D. in philosophy from Duke University in 2001 and earned tenure in the philosophy department at USF before moving to Humanities and Cultural Studies in 2013. Her diverse interests include Kantian ethics, shared intentionality, the ethics of marriage, philosophy of love and sex, philosophy of emotion, philosophy and film, feminist theory, and poetry. She is a recipient of the USF Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award and a past President of the Florida Philosophical Association. Her philosophical essays and poetry have been published in numerous journals.
